"I have a love of old buildings that have a unique character all their own, almost a personality. I would like to capture that sense of wonderment and discovery felt when entering a museum or library; the feeling of reflective quiet and awe when entering a church or cathedral; the curiosity or voyeuristic thrill at seeing something not intended to be seen, that fly on the wall."

"The resulting works are multimedia constructions comprised of wood, glass, masonite, lights, oil paint and a variety of other materials. Combining my love of painting and working with wood and tools, I am creating three-dimensional pieces that are part architectural, part sculptural, and part painted illusion. I am striving to develop pieces that work on many levels, a visual journey that starts with the exterior and then draws the viewer into the interior to discover yet another visual experience. I want these small environments to draw the viewer back again and again to explore and reflect."
